inxin has always applied and contributed to the Agile Approach
The Ninetees
In the ninetees we embraced FDD (Feature Driven Development) as our principal methodology.
We were introduced to FDD by Peter Coad through our partnership with Object International (later Togethersoft and now Borland) .
Shaken, not Stirred
Later we added concepts and techniques from XP, SCRUM, DSDM and other Agile Techniques.
Our ability to mix and match the right ingredients on a project by project basis is one of our strongest competences.
Dimensional Planning
Although we strongly support the Agile Approach, we also challenge it continuously.
We invented Dimensional Planning because
- There were no (sufficient) Agile techniques at the Program Level
- We noticed we were building too much software and too little value
- The customers want a Fixed Date and Price, but current Agile Methods are no good at this
